The Engine Built in-house, 2024 to now
AI-first. Human-led.
The Engine is the AI layer we built in-house, and it works for exactly one agency: this one. We call it Magnus, after the greatest chess player of his generation, because that is the standard: read the whole board, every day, never move on a hunch. The AI does the analysis. Every decision, every change and every call stays with the senior who runs your account.
01 What Magnus does
The work a human cannot do alone.
A diligent specialist can deep-check a handful of accounts a day. Magnus does it for every account, every morning, and hands the judgement calls to a senior.
- M/01Daily anomaly detectionDaily
Spend spikes, conversion drops, disapprovals and tracking failures, flagged the morning they appear.
- M/02Search-term intelligence at scaleMonthly
Thousands of search terms read and classified monthly, so wasted spend is caught at the n-gram level, not eyeballed.
- M/03Budget pacingDaily
Every account tracked against its monthly budget daily. No quiet overspends, no unspent budgets discovered on the 28th.
- M/04Performance Max X-rayMonthly
Channel-level breakdowns of the campaigns Google prefers to keep opaque. We see where the money actually goes.
- M/05Competitor & auction movementWeekly
Impression-share shifts and new entrants surfaced before they become a problem you can feel.
- M/06Report draftingMonthly
Magnus drafts the analysis. A human writes the conclusions. You get a report that reads like a person wrote it, because one did.

02 The division of labour
AI scans. Humans decide.
Nothing ships to your account without senior sign-off. AI raises the floor; it does not replace the judgement you are paying for.
03 Straight answers
What Magnus is not.
Not a chatbot wrapper.
Magnus is purpose-built tooling for Google Ads account management: monitoring, classification, pacing and analysis, connected directly to the accounts it watches.
Not a replacement for expertise.
It was built by a specialist trained on £5m-a-month budgets, to apply that standard everywhere. The machine extends the expert. It does not stand in for one.
Not an excuse to pile accounts high.
The point of Magnus is depth per account, not headcount maths. Client numbers stay deliberately limited; the engine makes each one better served, not cheaper to ignore.
04 What's next
Ask Magnus, right here.
The chat in the corner of this site will soon be Magnus itself: account questions answered, audits requested, reports explained, in plain English, any hour. Clients get it first. Until then, the panel takes your question and a human answers fast.
One thing to be clear about: Magnus is proprietary and internal. He is not for sale, not a plug-in, and not available to other agencies. Agencies who want his output on their clients' accounts use our white-label desk; the engine itself stays home.
